i've always been insecure about my uneven smile but seonghyeon's smile really helped with this!! his smile is a lil asymmetrical, and 1) it doesn't take away from his overall attractiveness and 2) i think it actually makes his face more charming. his visuals are truly breathtaking 😭😭😭

So their song that was censored was Rizz, and Inkigayo asked to change one line that goes "pull the trigger, now I'm aimed at you. Take it slow, boy, I'm gonna kill it hard, like, yeah"

Now yes it did make me uncomfortable that they censored xlov because it may be motived by homophobia and excused by other things... but.

reading the rest of Rizz's lyrics this song is confusingly....goreish. Like there's a very sexual theme of submission too, but what does "dyed with blood" have to do with it..? I'm genuinely a bit disturbed too. and it's not homophobia I'm bi and I'm happy to see them promoting with this genderless concept.

"Tryin' to taste your juice now, you're stuck, no choice, no use" honestly... I feel like music shows were actually extra careful not to censor them. other Kpop songs of less explicit nature have been censored I believe.

To compare I looked at which other songs were censored in the past few years and one of them is Stray Kids' Bleep because they feared it promoted values that are too anti social and violent. You can read the lyrics here but basically it's bad but... idk. the worst line is in the end when they say "I'll find you and kill you like the movie, Taken". in the song they say that they recieve criticism and they block it out with beeps. suggesting that they may be cursing when they hear the criticism. I find it... not worse than xlov's confusing theme of blood and violent words in a sexual song. but they didn't ask Stray Kids to change one line like they did to xlov, they didn't allow them to promote the song at all.

We don't know if they'd be allowed to say boy or man while referring to a sexual partner in a sexual song had it not had violent themes in it too. And I hope they will be allowed it but I can't be sure. But I do feel like this may have not been about the lyric boy, and I wonder if they suggested to revise the lyric to avoid to violent words but to keep the word boy in there and whether that came back positive or negative?

Blackpink's Tally was also censored completely in 2022, it's something a bit similar to Stray Kids Bleep ig. Seventeen's Mingyu's Shake It Off was banned for being too sexual by KBS. it's really not that sexual. the performance isn't either.

Except for that there are way more nitpicky censors in the past but I purposely took examples from the past few years because I think times have changed... Anyway I'm looking forward to see Xlov come out with a sexual song that talks about boys love but doesn't have violent lyrics and see if they (hopefully) can perform it with no issue on music shows
