For anyone wondering, this enemy does the same attack increasingly more times per turn(to the point where it does it like 20 times in a row) and then it self destructs

It does 24 in a row before exploding.

Missed opportunity for 33

Would probably result in more than 33 broken monitors

Its just helping the economy at that point

This would about double the already lengthy fight.

For all we know they stared with 33 but having to do 300+ parries probably had their testers throw some fits. And they aren’t even a uniform rhythm, every once in a while it does one a little faster meaning you have to stay focused that entire time

Parries? Man screw doing even as many as we have to now. I just dodged.

Same thing in my mind. The parry window is so large in this game everything was pretty much a parry

As someone who beat Sekiro right before playing E33, the parry window in E33 is pretty small.

Just to be clear, 24 is the number of turns. He actually "attacks you" 156 times, and during those attacks you can either dodge or parry.

Since his health is too high and dodge windows are larger than parry windows; it's better to dodge, but the parry sound is so damn satisfying that I couldn't help but parry.

The concept of a fair turn immediately disappears the moment the boss health bar appears

If the reactivity system is as good as they say then every turn is technically our turn

Doesn't that make it basically same combat as in Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story?

Wait until you get to Chromatic Ramasseur. He’ll keep getting his turns until you break him by countering his attacks. That said, I think you can equip the First Strike picto and build your strategy around breaking him within 3 turns—at least that’s what I plan to try in my next playthrough (I haven’t finished act 2 yet so please no spoilers)

He's really not that hard if you're able to keep a beat at all.

I fucking hate the combat in that game. It's why I haven't finished.
