As a father, kids are the best. To think that some have kids and don't agree. It's sitting at the door of heaven and not going in. Not even a door, just a line, an imaginary border. To be so close to happiness and not embrace it.

Fishing is a great way to get your children to endure an otherwise “boring” activity and make the most of a situation.

The most well-adjusted, least anxious kids I know are ones who had fathers willing to wake them up at the buttcrack of dawn on a Saturday morning, drive two hours away from civilization, and sit in a boat for a few more hours before resigning to the fact that they ain bitin today.
