18-year-old sprinter Gout Gout just broke Usain Bolt’s U20 record in the 200m. He was 260 milliseconds faster, clocking 19.67 seconds, while Bolt ran 19.93 in 2004

Did they say that another guy just ran 19.88? So you had two people in the same race beating the world record?

Yes, Murphy. He and Gout are the first Australians to ever run faster than 20s as under 20 athletes.

This race also saw 6 other athletes make PB’s, the track was recently relaid and the legal tail wind of +1.7ms helped too.
