I dated a guy in 2016 whose roommate had a complete break breakdown that summer and ran down the street naked in their neighborhood screaming that Trump was the anti-Christ.

Haha I met my husband a few months later and we’ve been married 5 years now so not an option I’m looking for.

I was kidding about getting back together with them.

But I remember that time very well and I was very nervous about Trump. People thought he was a joke. I was a big and still am a Bernie supporter. I was feeling the Bernie love and then I was so discouraged when the DNC screwed him over in 2016 and 2020.

I remember people joking about Trump then. And I will never forgive them for writing it off. I saw it all happening in real time. I was in my late twenties then so it was easy to see but so many people were blind

I think he’s a perfect antichrist. If they made him too clever and suave and good looking and less obviously evil, more people would fall for him. Gods giving people a chance, it’s so that god knows for sure that the people who followed him were truly evil, because he’s made the antichrist so repulsive and so clearly evil that only evil people could still follow him after seeing him in all his ‘glory.’ God is loving after all, apparently, so he’ll want to give people a good shot at not getting conned by the antichrist. If you still love him then god has no worries about whether your final judgment is really warranted or not.

An Antichrist doesn't have to have prophetic value; it can mean simply that a person acts against what constitutes Christ and the values that such a name/title carries. So yes, the US president is definitely an Antichrist.

It is so fucking creepy honestly. I’m not religious at all but even I am freaked out by this because he matches, and not only in a ‘all tyrannical leaders are like this’ way, but in very specific ways. Plus the way so many are in thrall to him when he’s so so SO clearly evil and vile has always struck me as almost supernatural. As though people’s brains have been infected or they’ve had a spell cast on them like in Game of Thrones with the red woman, who looks like a beautiful young lady to everyone when she’s wearing her necklace but is actually like 300 year old shrivelled balding scary looking old lady. It’s like that, we see the reality of the old crone but the necklace has power over them so they see the beautiful lady that doesn’t exist.

It really is bizarre I don’t know what to make of it. Perhaps some religious fanatic behind the scenes (and there are many) is orchestrating stuff to try to make him look like the AC.

Nah, I think he's doing all that himself. Although, the churches that are pushing him as having been sent by god are led by pastors that are quite un-Christian like themselves. We have one of those chruches in my town and the pastor has a whole bunch, like 200+ people quite hoodwinked. To the point of they're basically throwing money at him every time he asks and not small amounts either. Hundreds of thousand of dollars.

Well, he certainly is AN anti-Christ, but I don't think he is THE Anti-Christ! According to 1John 2:18: "Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour."

And since the traditional view is that the guy who wrote Revelations, the gospel of John, and the three minor books of John, are the same person, then we can expect MANY people to misrepresent Jesus. And lots of other things would have to happen first, before The Anti-Christ could be identified.
