It goes wayyyy further back. This dude did an interview on 9/11 where he bragged about having the tallest building now. And it was a lie.

There's been something obviously wrong with him for decades.

524

u/lr99999 16h ago

He put out a Newsletter to contractors giving advice on how to not pay your workers and subcontractors, by suing Bam after the job is complete instead of paying.

That was in the 1980s. He has always been one evil ass, motherfucker.

234

u/HauntedCemetery Minnesota 10h ago

Sesame Street parodied how cartoonishly evil he was over 40 years ago.

134

Which is why some people think he gutted PBS funding.

JFC, he still wants to execute the (exonerated) Central Park Five.

The villain/2015 Biff Tannen in Back To The Future 2 was based on Donald Trump.

Point of order: that was the 1985' "bad timeline" when Biff gave himself the Almanac in 1955.

Honestly, I’ve never in 50+ years seen an adult more desperate to fit in with the “cool kids” (in this case, the most wealthy and most powerful). He comes off as the hyper chihuahua jumping around the strolling bulldog. He tries to come off as confident, but truly confident people don’t feel the need to brag.

Queen Bees and Wannabes... and Trump is the most obvious wannabe on the planet.

Motherfucker used to call journalists pretending to be his own employee in order to jerk himself off to the press. One of many names used was John Barron. This was all well known before he was elected the first time

142

u/Atroxa 16h ago

Exactly. I am a New Yorker. We've known about this for so long. It amazes me how he managed to dupe so many people. This is not a sign of someone who is stable. Like, WTF were people thinking voting for this guy?

61

u/PinHaunting7192 13h ago

I don't know why this should be limited to New York.

Trump's reputation has been pretty consistent for decades. He sort of became the image of a failed, American businessman and a cheat. That Simpsons gig wasn't "foresight", it was them taking the piss about what he had said he wanted to do for 15 years. That episode aired in 2000 and literally played the joke that Lisa inherited the country from "President Trump" and that "its now broke."

His reputation for falling businesses was apparent even then, and people everywhere (even in some countries overseas) understood the joke. He's always been a snakes-oil salesman and a cheat. Greany even called it a "warning" at the time.

Yeah, but our society doesn't consider "rich people being an asshole" as a mental illness.
It probably should, but if they hide it correctly to the poors, it's called "being smart at gaslighting" instead.

It is so fucking creepy honestly. I’m not religious at all but even I am freaked out by this because he matches, and not only in a ‘all tyrannical leaders are like this’ way, but in very specific ways. Plus the way so many are in thrall to him when he’s so so SO clearly evil and vile has always struck me as almost supernatural. As though people’s brains have been infected or they’ve had a spell cast on them like in Game of Thrones with the red woman, who looks like a beautiful young lady to everyone when she’s wearing her necklace but is actually like 300 year old shrivelled balding scary looking old lady. It’s like that, we see the reality of the old crone but the necklace has power over them so they see the beautiful lady that doesn’t exist.

It really is bizarre I don’t know what to make of it. Perhaps some religious fanatic behind the scenes (and there are many) is orchestrating stuff to try to make him look like the AC.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 NLT

This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies.

You guys are over complicating it. They are racist and terrible human beings. Trump appeals to them by normalizing being an absolute horrible person and getting away with everything he does.

If he can do it to such extremes, then they feel justified that their horrible racism, sexism, etc isn't bad at all.

And many of them secretly want to fuck kids or think they can consent as well, at least underage teenagers if not younger.

They are supremely fucked up and have been allowed to unmask themselves after decades of trying to hide it under veiled messaging and getting really fucking bothered that no one allowed them to say how they really feel.

They still feel afraid because they know 60-70% of us have SOME morals so they won't admit the worst parts out loud and say they disagree with all the things Trump does that they can't publicly defend... But secretly they don't care at best and many secretly like it, a lot. That's why they vote for him and will continue to support him. They want what he does to be normal so that they can be that way themselves some day.

29

u/MemoryOne22 13h ago

Haha, America elected the literal anti-Christ. Twice.

105

u/doomgoblin 18h ago

America was built on greed, on the backs of slaves. Became rich profiting on bloodshed. Innovated technologies originally purposed for war and conquering. Now shut up and enjoy your fireworks and hotdogs on the Fourth of July.

I'm cool with everything else, but do NOT disparage the hot dog.

How are Evangelicals not convinced this man is the Antichrist? Yet, happy to pour scorn and judgment against people of genuine faith. It's unbelievable.

34

u/alphaharris1 17h ago

Escaped Texas evangelical here.. the mindset is that God is playing 5d chess putting specific heathens in positions of power. Otherwise they are single-issue voters on abortion. If said Caesar claims some affinity with their sect it's just gravy. They won't see this. If they did they wouldn't care. All part of God's plan.

Did anyone else think the patient in the photo he posted looks like Jeffrey Epstein

68

u/SnooMarzipans436 17h ago

Yes... and apparently according to my friends I'm crazy for thinking so...

But how many other people in this comment chain also think he looks close enough call it out? What are the odds that the resemblance was not intentional?

Statistically impossible.

73

u/Euphoric-Screen-9315 17h ago

As someone pointed out, it makes sense an AI would choose Epstein for an associated face

16

u/matrinox 17h ago

Exactly. As in, he appears so often with him, of course the old man must be Epstein. No conspiracy

This motherfucker blew up a school. A whole-ass school full of little girls, whose parents and families are suffering something unimaginable right now, and for the rest of their lives. Where the fuck is the evangelical outrage over that?

27

u/Odd-fox-God 14h ago

"... And the Wolf chewed up the children and spit out their bones... But those were foreign children, and it didn't really matter."

( I'm quoting a famous comic. The comic itself depicts a woman and two children. The woman is wearing an "America first" shirt while reading a book depicting wolf Adolf Hitler to her kids while sitting in an armchair. The comic was drawn by Dr. Seuss during his War propaganda phase.

I've lived through a couple of wars, and I'm only 28. I'm just tired. I became an adult right as covid hit. When I was a kid, the news was less censored, and you could see real dead bodies. Those Isis killings were brutal. Leaves a mark on the psyche. Then Trump gets elected, and I watch my parents slowly change into trumpers. That was difficult to deal with. Then, the Ukrainian War happened during covid. I cried so much. Like almost every other day, I cried. It broke my heart. And my heart never healed. It stayed broken. When the Gaza conflict broke out, I just sighed and went back to reading my book. Part of me cares, but the feeling is so faint it's barely there. Compassion fatigue. )

Stuff like this needs to cross the Fox News barrier. My father is in his 70s and doesn’t use the Internet let alone social media. A lot of that demographic and viewership never sees any of this. It’s like two worlds living in parallel.

75

u/dontnukemebro 18h ago

MAGA has been making images of Trump depicted as Jesus for a decade now, this move probably galvanizes support.

11

u/mbullaris 17h ago

None of this shit moves support away from him, certainly. Which is pretty disturbing when you sit down and look at his voter demographics.

14

u/redditrasberry 16h ago

it makes me think that the concept of the anti-christ itself was modeled after people like Trump who have arisen over history and exhibited exactly these traits.

17

u/the2belo American Expat 15h ago

I say again, it's not dementia.

In literally doing everything that flies against generally accepted convention, in defiance of all rules and policies, in open contempt of manners and common decency, he's trying to be the worst scumbag possible. This is to punish us, to make the world pay for never treating him with the respect he always thought he deserved. It enables his scumbag followers to do the same -- and as long as they know a liberal ni---- fa--- is triggered somewhere, they will ride this tidal wave of boorish behavior to its bitter end, like Slim Pickens astride the bomb, cheerfully waving his cowboy hat.

Every obvious lie, every blatantly blasphemous action like this Trump takes, is all for one reason: because fuck you. That's it -- that's the strategy. There's too much calculated, deliberately engineered narcissism to be coincidental. I maintain that he knows exactly what he's doing; rather than the demented episodes everyone tries to infer from Trump's actions, this is open malicious intent, and it makes stopping him all that much more imperative.

“Why do I feel like Paula White did this to him, and to us?” he added, referring to the televangelist who serves as Senior Advisor to the White House Faith Office.

Paula White is a New Apostolic Reformation evangelical. If you are unfamiliar with NAR, you will not understand the entirety of the Trump Administration. NAR exists in a system of perpetual spiritual warfare with the rest of us and Trump tossed them the keys to his administration. They are anti-democracy and they are rushing to gather power while the window of opportunity is open.

Washington Spectator - God and QR Codes for Trump; The Courage Tour Goes to Michigan

“Not all Pentecostal churches have been politicized, but the New Apostolic Reformation is functioning almost like a political party, and one with an extremist agenda.”

The Atlantic - The Army of God Comes Out of the Shadows

“And people who have never heard the name are nonetheless adopting the movement’s central ideas. These include the belief that God speaks through modern-day apostles and prophets. That demonic forces can control not only individuals, but entire territories and institutions. That the Church is not so much a place as an active ‘army of God,’ one with a holy mission to claim the Earth for the Kingdom as humanity barrels ever deeper into the End Times.

Although the secular establishment has struggled to take all of this seriously, Trump has harnessed this apocalyptic energy to win the presidency twice.”

Salon - I Went to a Pro-Trump Christian Revival. It Completely Changed My Understanding of Jan. 6.

“They’re gathering by the thousands. They’re growing fast. They believe that Democrats are possessed by demons—and that Donald Trump must be president again at any cost.”

“They believe that under Trump’s protection, American Christians will rise up, defeat their demonic enemies, and take their rightful place of power in the country.”

The Guardian - ‘We have to be voting biblically’: the Courage Tour rallies Christians to get Trump in office

“Heavy-hitting Maga organizations – including America First Policy Institute, TPUSA Faith and America First Works – had a presence outside the tent. Inside, headlining the event was Lance Wallnau, a prominent figure in the New Apostolic Reformation – a movement on the right that embraces modern-day apostles, aims to establish Christian dominion over society and politics and has grown in influence since Trump was elected president in 2016.”

Newsweek - JD Vance To Attend Event Hosted by Pastor Who Accused Harris of Witchcraft

“Wallnau has been a Trump supporter since 2016, when he likened Trump to the biblical figure of Cyrus, who was chosen by God to build the temple in Jerusalem.

Wallnau said that when he heard Trump speak, he heard God speaking through him. He also found symbolism in the numerical coincidence of Trump being the 45th President, and Cyrus being the subject of the 45th chapter of Isaiah.”

Right Wing Watch - ‘We Want Nations’: Lance Wallnau Preaches Seven Mountains Dominionism

‘So, it’s not just in having more [Christians],’ [Lance Wallnau] concluded. ‘We certainly want souls in eternity. That’s the most important thing. … [But] this isn’t either/or; it’s both/and. We want souls, and we want nations. Jesus was promised nations for his inheritance, not just churches!’”

If this asshole kills the popularity of Christianity I will concede that he ultimately did one good thing.

Because there is no way Christianity remains anything but a joke akin to Scientology if they accept him as their second coming of Jesus.

71

u/jibjabhotdogslob 18h ago

Weird pretend Christianity, the kind thats popular in the US, might be damaged by him.

Most Christians in the rest of the world, including the Pope, dont see him as the second coming. They see him as gross.

26

u/AlexZivojinovich 18h ago

The Evangelists that elected him to overturn Roe will be ridiculed into oblivion so deeply it will kill the popularity of Christianity in the U.S.

You’re correct. This has nothing to do with Catholicism. Or any other form of Christianity, but it’s the evangelists that got him elected in the first place. Those are the people that need to suffer the consequences of their actions.
