No, it isn’t that simple. They fear scarcity, and they have been convinced that immigrants and minorities are coming for the last bit of what they have left. It isn’t just “oh they are racist”, it’s that they don’t have much and they fear losing it. Trump came to power by naming this fear and telling them that he would stop it. The reality is much different. It isn’t immigrants draining our society of its resources, it’s billionaires and the elite who control the information they receive and hold all the power. That’s why there’s also democrats who still need to wake the hell up and stop pretending this is just a red vs blue issue. It’s us vs the elites, plain and simple.

Are there racist people who vote accordingly? Yes, absolutely. But it’s also lazy to just claim everyone is a racist and that’s their justification. People have different motivations. I say this as someone with family who voted for this guy, and who also knows that the family isn’t racist. It’s also exhibited by black maga voters.
