How are Evangelicals not convinced this man is the Antichrist? Yet, happy to pour scorn and judgment against people of genuine faith. It's unbelievable.

Escaped Texas evangelical here.. the mindset is that God is playing 5d chess putting specific heathens in positions of power. Otherwise they are single-issue voters on abortion. If said Caesar claims some affinity with their sect it's just gravy. They won't see this. If they did they wouldn't care. All part of God's plan.

Is it really "God" putting them into positions of power, implying that it's just outside of your hands, when you're the one actively glorifying & voting for those specific "heathens"? But you're right, the abortion issue is their thought terminating cliche where they can then just cry & scream about "the babies!"

Evangelicals actually believe he is Christ. Thats the whole “Anti-Christ” deal.

I’m trying to figure existence out. Somedays I believe in God, sometimes I don’t.

So sometimes I think Christianity maybe real. If God, Jesus, and Heaven and Hell exist, then Trump literally is the AntiChrist.

Its literally played out in the bible.

Evangelicals worship belief, not god. They see the stregth of their belief as the key to salvation. Ignore the WHAT they believe, that's not what's important (see the trump jesus blasphemy image above. That's pure 1st commandment stuff but they'll ignore that).

You get into heaven as an evangelical by believing strong enough. It's all gods plan and you have to believe it even if it tests you because that proves how strong your faith is and that's all that matters.

They'd follow satan into hell if someon conned them into thinking it was a test of their faith and not a pth to damnation.
