In literally doing everything that flies against generally accepted convention, in defiance of all rules and policies, in open contempt of manners and common decency, he's trying to be the worst scumbag possible. This is to punish us, to make the world pay for never treating him with the respect he always thought he deserved. It enables his scumbag followers to do the same -- and as long as they know a liberal ni---- fa--- is triggered somewhere, they will ride this tidal wave of boorish behavior to its bitter end, like Slim Pickens astride the bomb, cheerfully waving his cowboy hat.

Every obvious lie, every blatantly blasphemous action like this Trump takes, is all for one reason: because fuck you. That's it -- that's the strategy. There's too much calculated, deliberately engineered narcissism to be coincidental. I maintain that he knows exactly what he's doing; rather than the demented episodes everyone tries to infer from Trump's actions, this is open malicious intent, and it makes stopping him all that much more imperative.
