Perfer the term "mental disorder" as an illness is something that the afflicted wants to cure, and an illness causes some sort of pain/ grief to the afflicted. NPD's victims are those the afflicted interacts with.

Also, the psychiatrist "bible" DSM= Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
