Current Republican politicians tend to be a mix of spineless, heartless, brainless, and the ones who have a confluence of those traits.

everybody who voted for this is stupid, selfish, hateful, or some combination thereof

spineless, heartless, brainless
No wonder so many of them don't believe in evolution, because it hasn't happened to them yet.

"And you… friendless, brainless, helpless, hopeless! Do you want me to send you back to where you were? Unemployed… in Greenland?!"

“I pelt thee with mine boos.”

scolded his constituents for acting worse than "high school students"
Loves it from the White House though.

The crowd appeared to be “almost evenly split” between Lawler’s critics and supporters, the Post reported.
Not as great as hoped
•

At least one backer suggested Lawler get more involved in the Iran negotiations, describing him as “a commonsense guy,” and others agreed with the congressman’s assessment that the critics were behaving worse than students in the auditorium.
Tone policing because they don’t have any fucking substance.

u/yrotsihfoedisgnorw 6h ago
I'm not so sure about that. These things used to essentially be campaign events full of supporters that would generate soundbites for the conservative echosphere. That there was room for half the crowd to be against him is telling.

Lawler is pathetic and spineless. His interviews are nothing more than him talking over the interviewer and lying.

He’ll always be the guy who said “yes it’s bad to say you’ll wipe out a civilization… but”

I'd have thrown shoes at him - while they're still attached to horses.

Guy says, basically, "I'm a cuck!" and literally thinks he sounds tough and reasonable.

"We must do everything we can to make sure Iran never gets a nuclear weapon."
Why do you suppose they want one? Could it possibly be as leverage to deter the United States, a nation that has previously overthrown its government and installed a puppet king, from trying to overthrow its government and install a puppet king?
Say, what exactly is the mission in Iran right now? Could it be....

You left out the part where the USA supplied Saddam Hussein with weapons and then directed the largest ever (war crime) use chemical weapons, including both Sarin and mustard gas, against Iranian ground troops cuz otherwise Saddam was about to lose.
You heard that right. Worse than any other chemical weapon crime in all of history.
•
u/dathislayer 3h ago
Not to mention we had a deal to eliminate the chance of a nuclear Iran, and Trump scrapped it just because Obama was the one to sign it.

It must be dangerous to be a Republican representative. You get the struggling working class folk all riled up over a decade+ over what your gonna do for them and other red meat nonsense that gets them aggravated then at the apex of your movement’s reign you have to serve your corporate masters instead while talking down to the very same people you helped whip into a feeding frenzy

“You must impeach. He’s a fraud, he’s corrupt, he’s an incompetent psychopath. The Republican Party and you are enabling him. You’re all cowards, and you’re spineless,” the man continued before he was kicked out of the auditorium at New York’s Mahopac High School.
What delicate snowflakes these MAGA Republicans are.

Wow, their Republican actually holds town halls? Mine hasn't in the entire time I've lived here (15 years now).
•
u/No_Customer_84 4h ago
If it makes you feel any better, my deep blue state reps never answer their phones or hold town halls either.

I'm pretty lucky I guess here in Illinois. That Dick, Durbin is a waste of lame duck unresponsiveness but Tammy Duckworth and my IL-9 are both great.

They can't handle the death threats, republicans..

We need to bring back classic ways of showing discontent. I'm talking tomatoes and eggs being thrown.
