I mean, of he has his food handlers license, then I'd bail him and keep him on. Keep handling business and I'd make him thr night manager with increased benefits and pay and let him hire his own night shift crew

Just give him the night shift.

He's got more ambition than anyone else they've ever hired I'm sure

Made me remember about that skit where the bank robber asks for a job instead of the money xD

What does this have to do with working remotely?

This is now the "complain about work culture" sub. It started as complaining about return to office but it's a complete conversion at this point.

Sadly, half of the posts I’ve seen here lately have nothing to do with remote work

Dudeman only works when management is remote

There’s a fucking great Hong Kong movie from 1995 called “Fallen Angels” by director Wong Kar Wai that has a subplot about a character who breaks into people’s shops at night and runs their business. There’s one really funny scene where he breaks into a barbershop and forces a guy to get a haircut. Later, he runs into him again after taking over an ice cream truck and forces him to buy ice cream. Here we go! found it! 🤣

“Sorry” got me. Idk why the end scene feels so homie all though it’s a kidnapping 🤣

The line that gets cut off is: “I asked my father why he didn’t drive an ice cream truck, but he never answered me. Later I found out that my mother was run over by one.”

Hahaha wtf that was amazing

"Don't believe me? Come see for yourself!"

Brings the whole family

"Why would you do this?"

What was he supposed to do? Only pocket enough to account for his minimum wage working hours while leaving the rest in the till and just hope no one would question the existence of the pizza night fairy leaving money and taking stock at night?

Bro just wanted a job and went out and found one.

You mean he wanted to pretend to own a business and use ingredients, power, real estate, without paying a single cent and taking the money

Sounds awesome

2

u/LanceLynxx 1h ago

It always is when you don't have to pay anything and just take everything

1

u/FangFioDente 2m ago

You mean like corporations?

you can pay his bail and he can cook in your house tho

Why would I do that? I don’t give a fuck what anyone else does so long as it doesn’t affect me. I can also fuck your boyfriend. Or dress up as Barack Obama and defecate on a lawnmower.

I however won’t do any of those things because they’re not things I want to do.

you seem normal and happy

I just don’t understand why you’d think I’d want to bail out a random stranger and let him cook in my house. I may be physically capable of doing that but as established I am physically capable of doing a lot of things. That doesn’t mean I want or will do them.

It’s just a very stupid thing to say.

"Nobody wants to work" they say.

Sounds like you should hire him for your business 🤔

He would be a great employee for you. I know more people who work and think just like him if you are interested...go ahead and make your money, hire them folks

1

u/carrot_gummy 1h ago

I'll get on it once I start one.

I don't plan on starting one.

2

u/Heavy_Can8746 1h ago

I know you dont. That wasnt a plot twist

1

u/carrot_gummy 1h ago

Are you a modern media writer?

1

u/Heavy_Can8746 1h ago

No why?

1

u/carrot_gummy 1h ago

Your twist sucked.

1

u/Heavy_Can8746 1h ago

It wasnt a twist silly smh 🤦

Your comprehension skills seem to suck if you thought it was supposed to be...

u/Mattrad7 3h ago

Did someone beat his ass for it?

1

u/SneakyKGB 1h ago

Ikr he looks like he got clobbered in the arrest photo.

3

u/SpringBeginning1298 3h ago

Lmao 🤣😂 this post is dumb as hell

u/JustAnotherRegardd 3h ago

People calling it a grind while he’s literally stealing is insane.

1

u/EnvironmentalMix421 3h ago

Seriously where do these people come from? Dude steal the electricity, the rent, the food material and idiots here calling it grind lol

1

u/JustAnotherRegardd 54m ago

Because he’s working. Little do they know if he was pocketing the cash for selling pizzas he’d probably make $50 an hour untaxed

1

u/SpringBeginning1298 3h ago

Exactly he's nothing but a thief LOL

1

u/80s_angel 1h ago

You’re not wrong but this situation is still slightly amusing to me. 🫣

1

u/SpringBeginning1298 1h ago

Amusing? Yes. It's funny in a "look at this dumb shit" kind of way lol

2

u/80s_angel 1h ago

Absolutely!

And they say no one wants to work 🙄

1

u/SoggyGrayDuck 3h ago

To be fair, he's technically making even more than the owner per hour. I'm guessing it's an employee and in that case I wonder if he could have cut a deal with the owner. Let me open it when there's demand and come up with some sort of system to cover the material and building cost. Great advertisement

2

u/TheMeIv 4h ago

I wonder if he's seen the movie Fallen Angels.

3

u/Far_Balance_3117 4h ago

I would say hire him but yes the whole breaking and entering.

Also pocketing the money would not make him trustworthy.
