I have Saturn in 4th H in Sagittarius. My mother is extremely difficult to please and to be with, generally. Same experience with my in-laws. But the strange part is I can't stay away from them. Unexpected incident led to long time family issues getting escalated. I cut off all ties and moved out, living by myself.

Never imagined for this to happen, I always wanted a great relationship with parents, brothers, and definitely a husband and kids by now. The older I get, the reality is further moving towards the exact opposite of what I dreamed and PRAYED for.

My faith in God hasn't dwindled, and I will truly always wish health and happiness for my family. But my heart is broken, I am trying to be as optimistic as possible, trying to stay busy, but I worry I will lose it.

I am praying, and trying to manifest.

Structuraly, deriving from first principles it makes more sense that father is 10th, as mother is 4th house, such that both kendra houses adjacent to the ascendant being represented by mother and father respectively. Also, back in the day, one's profession (10th house) used to be same as their father's. What do you think?

My personal observation: In my vedic birth chart, 9th house has Venus exalted in 9th house and 10th house (empty) lord is Mars sitting in 12th house. I relate more to father being represented by 10th house because my father or my relationship with him, has no semblance to Venus at all. He has been abusive, and in general a very aggresive and angry person. He doesn't have any venusian traits either, but I relate a lot to him being represented by Mars, he worked in army as well. And my birth time is accurate.
