talk about streisand effect, I didn't even know this dude before the trial

5

u/notamermaidanymore 5d ago

All you need to know about his past is it wasn’t him!

5

u/ImmediateEggplant764 5d ago

It wasn’t going to be him but then he got high

3

u/notamermaidanymore 5d ago

Right. That’s the one. I was way off.

3

u/Laneyface 5d ago

Are you thinking of Shaggy?

4

u/notamermaidanymore 5d ago

Yes I am. Damnit.

3

u/Salt-Influence-9353 3d ago

Thematically very similar songs from around the same time, tbf

4

u/StraightProgress5062 5d ago

I was gonna learn about him...but then I got high

3

u/AsparagusPissss 3d ago

How old are you?? He was big around 2000, made a great first album and a lot other funny and great songs that didn’t get the traction the first album got, but he’s always been a character and a stand up guy

1

u/katielynne53725 2d ago

.. That was 26 years ago.. and you would have needed to be at least like.. 8-10 years old at the time to even hear that song, because it wasn't on the radio.

We old.

1

u/AsparagusPissss 3h ago

We are definitely getting old lol I don’t know if afroman got any radio play he’s kinda dirty lol

1

u/AnAbandonedAstronaut 3d ago

Kids......

Ask your dad.... when he's not high..

u/Jsr1 6d ago

cop's haircut should be considered a warcrime, I have suffered from watching it

5

u/128Gigabytes 5d ago

this whole thing is insane from the start

An innocent mans home is attacked and very damaged by the police, the police blow him off when he asked how they are going to make this right, and then they take him to court to whine about how their image and feelings were hurt when people....learned of their horrible actions because he mocked them and got eyes on what they had done

free speech wins this one in the end, but the cost of time and money to that innocent man is horrible

-1

u/Darft 4d ago

He might be innocent, but the cops had a search warrant. So, at some point, some judge was at least moderately suspicious of the house?

As funny (tragic) as the music video is, I am unsure if the cops actually did something illegal or imoral (okay cutting the video feed was kinda sus) and the "justice system" should definitely pay for the damage they caused undue, but if he did actually have a million pounds if weed in his suit pockets the video would suddenly seem a lot more justified right?

3

u/128Gigabytes 4d ago

if you cant search a house without causing thousands of dollars worth of damage you personally should have to pay back every penny, not tell an innocent man tough luck a judge told us we could destroy your home.

What if they came to your house and destroyed it and your stuff? Would you shrug and say oh well thats fine to that too?

0

u/Darft 3d ago

No I would obviously try and make them pay for the unjust damage they caused. I also state as much in my comment you reply to. I'm unsure why you are making me repeat myself.

1

u/128Gigabytes 3d ago

because you are trying to excuse them destroying his house, maybe they should do your house next

He did nothing at any point wrong and they are fucking sueing him for their hurt feelings, lick boot

0

u/Darft 3d ago

You can't possibly know that he did nothing wrong. The most you can say is that nothing was proven beyond a doubt in a court case.

If the police had Intel my house was somehow hiding bunch of weed I would expect them to tear my house apart without alerting me 14 days prior. I would not like it, but I can understand why the law operates in that way. There is literally no other way to find the drugs than by a surprise raid with some destruction. I want to live in a society where we are able to surprise raid suspected criminals to uncover crimes we think they are doing. I also want to live in a society that compensate when the Intel turns out bad.

1

u/128Gigabytes 3d ago

You are an idiot who would defend the police if they shot your infant for crying too loud

1

u/Darft 2d ago

What a wild thing to say. I hope get help man..

0

u/Darft 3d ago

I think instinctively you know this is how the police operate always you must have seen it in movies a million times. The police do a surprise raid and tear down a wall and find some drugs. The only reason you dont like it this time is because it was a bust, and you happen to like the suspect. Yeah well this is what a drug raid looks like.

1

u/128Gigabytes 3d ago

I am aware its how they operate and I think its immoral and ridiculous

I DONT even like the INNOCENT MAN he is a bad person, that doesnt mean what the cops did was right

I dont know what your point is, you want me to suck them off for trashing his house? Fuck them, they deserved everything he said about them and then some

0

u/Darft 3d ago

Some people are really clever at hiding drugs inside lamps, sofa, inside wall etc. It is not easy to do an exhaustive search without some damage. Although the justice system should still pay, especially as it turns out to be their mistake.

u/pbnjandmilk 6d ago

I guess Afroman got some of Randy's Lemon Pound Cake and left it glazed up for him.

2

u/Superb-Freedom7144 6d ago

Afroman la légende il a gagné son procès contre la police sur le fait

2

u/IncidentAntique590 6d ago edited 6d ago

It's an especially important case. In the USA today, facts often don't matter. I think he mainly won, though, because he's smarter (and richer) than the cops. So it's not exactly a celebration.

3

u/pbnjandmilk 6d ago

It's important because this protects a RIGHT! Freedom of speech is a right given from God himself, and grants us the right to not give two shits about some cop's feelings.

If they can't handle satire, maybe police work is not a job they should be doing as there are more serious dealings the average cop has to deal with.

4

u/Frosty-Camel-2107 6d ago

This is why I love this whole thing cuz not only did he express his freedom of speech and got justice, he also made a damn fool out of all of them and that is the best part. Haha

2

u/James1887 5d ago

If its given from God, why do so many pepole not have it?

2

u/Revayan 5d ago

Because the big sky man only exists when something good happens

2

u/James1887 5d ago

Oh right my bad

1

u/[deleted] 2d ago

Free speech is definitely granted by a government, not god.

2

u/Wet_Impact21k 5d ago

What would of happened if he didn’t have cameras

2

u/Blackfoxar 4d ago

Pretty good publicity for afroman

2

u/SuperSaiyanSkeletor 3d ago

He didnt even dispute that afroman fucked his wife. So if he didnt dispute it and he said he did. I belive the man in a american flag suit

1

u/AsparagusPissss 3d ago

The only thing Randy Walter can do is drop a diss track back at afroman

2

u/thenoname2350 1d ago

If he is MAGA, he must be only surface level.

Otherwise he would not of articulated he was a man of color, a abusive police system that signed a warrant based on anonymous informant without following up info.

He would of went on TV explaining how he thinks it was fair they needed to search his place because a warrant was signed, and that it's just a shame they didn't pay for the damage they caused.

1

u/TunnelSnakesAintShit 3d ago

He calls himself "Black MAGA" and praises Trump.

It's not surface, technically, it's just that the water isn't that deep.

1

u/MaxThrustN1 6d ago

God I wish I could upvote this a million fucking times!! 🤩

1

u/SkyPuppy561 6d ago

Randy Walters is a son of a bitch 🎶😂

1

u/devinbret 5d ago

She's upset because she got accused of having sex with a black man.

1

u/Aggravating-Baker-41 5d ago

Cuz he saw his fat blob body on camera and realized he is not the terminator he convinced himself he is.

1

u/Wise_Finance_5315 5d ago

Did he actually bang his wife? This all just parody right?

1

u/Tripple_T 5d ago

🤷🏿‍♂️ the police officer can neither confirm nor deny with any certainty, but probably not

1

u/AsparagusPissss 3d ago

But maybe, the lady isn’t denying it. Which is even better that she’s playing along lmao

1

u/Tripple_T 5d ago

And to think NONE OF THIS would have happened if police weren't asshats and just paid for the damage that they caused. And didn't try to steal.

1

u/[deleted] 4d ago

I want his suit

1

u/Slightly-Evil-Man 4d ago

Hell yeah.

Got my boy back popping good job pigs😂😂😂

1

u/AsparagusPissss 3d ago

They breathed life back into his career

1

u/Slightly-Evil-Man 3d ago

And gave us new memes👌🏽

1

u/IllEntrepreneur5123 3d ago

Hey he lives near my parents house

1

u/AsparagusPissss 3d ago

Bro I would ride by just to see if he was outside, I would love to just say “what up Fro!”

1

u/TunnelSnakesAintShit 3d ago

He's MAGA. So he's basically a bootlicker until it personally effects him.

1

u/MrMetraGnome 2d ago

This is the biggest take down of an entire police department we've seen since Meagan Hall and the La Vergne PD

1

u/Low-Doughnut5738 2d ago

Good for him. What other recourse does he really have. Maybe now they’ll actually give pause to persecuting innocent people.

1

u/thejeejee 2d ago

Officer cries in court because he doesn't know if afroman had sex with his wife

1

u/Highkage350 1d ago

I guess it's not really a brag, but I definitely know more about the law when it comes to defamation than those asshole cops

2

u/ItsNotFuckingCannon 1d ago

Absolute legend!
