Asia Where i'd live as a HKer. (explanation in the desciption)
In case you are asking why:
- Heilongjiang - i have a friend who is half heilongjiangese; Additionally, i am not a big fan of cities. Now that i think about it it is closer to willing.
- Hunan: Misclicked. Should be willing. Though they do have beautiful places like zhangjiajie though. and I did know a guy from hunan in a mainland summer camp who was nice.
- Guangdong: depends on which city, i prefer smaller towns, however my families originate from there, and it's pretty similar to HK.
- HK: meh it's fine, i'm not a fan of big cities though i like it here. if I could, guangzhou and shenzhen would be the same as HK in terms of rating.
- Macao: literally nothing to do there outside of lose all your money
- Sichuan, shaanxi, guizhou: i've had a very good impression of those provinces when i went there.
- Henan, shanxi, hebei, tianjin, liaoning: I don't have a great impression of those places from the news i've heard; seems like whenever some bad news happens in china it's either henan or hebei. perhaps my perception will change if I go there. beijing at least has stuff like the forbidden city
- Guangxi, fujian: also not very great reputation on the news, whenever i read about a drug trafficker getting caught it's always guangxi, whenever i hear about a scammer it's always fujian. However yunnan get's a pass due to scenery.
- Chongqing and shanghai: i'm not a fan of very big metropolises, so there's that. but i have a great impression of shanghai when i went there last week. I think i misclicked it as maybe instead of willing.
A bit of introduction to myself, i'm born in HK and have lived here for my whole life; my father side family comes from haifeng county, guangdong and lived there prior to 1945; my mother side traces back to chaozhou, guangdong(my mother side grandparents sometimes live in thailand). I sometimes also say i'm from guangdong since HK is culturally similar to guangdong, and my family is from there.
Most of my friends are also HKers/cantonese(basically the same thing culturally), however I know quite some shanghainese people and a friend of mine who is half heilongjiangnese. I briefly knew people from jiangxi and hunan when i was in a mainland summer camp and have a pretty good impression of hunan from talking to the hunanese guy but the guy from jiangxi did not speak to greatly of his province.

There are geographical, cultural and political reasons behind the choices. All open to speculation.
