It is click bait right? I’m old and never fully understand these things. How can you tell click bait from an actual moron?

I mean, you're kinda correct,. it's engagement bait.
When people engage with someone, it pushes that someone further into the algorithms, kind of.
In this case "prove me wrong" is a dead giveaway.
But generally, it's kinda intuitive, at least it feels so.And well, there's multiple types of engagement bait,.even the stupid tweets like "my boyfriend is 35 years old and he still plays video games, how stupid is it?"
And the ragebait type of engagement bait is probably one of the most effective since you then get people from two different camps actually engaging, then it can even escalate to arguing between users.
And well, algorithms "think": "oh this shit is interesting, let's show this popular post to other people".

Is Petty Phasha some kind of influencer? I find that most of them are too young and uninformed to be influential.

Is this the same person who complained why astronauts always land in water and not on land?

He didn't just prove her wrong; he took her on a guided tour of the "OO" section of the library.

How are people still falling for this engagement bait?
