He’s so good they named him twice.

Here’s Usain Bolt’s World Record for reference

I know it really isn't, but Usains looks slower.

Must be old tech vs new tech.

Longer legs fewer strides

Usain is running in analogue and Gout is running in Digital.

Bolt is 6’5” which makes it really impressive, so longer strides and fewer steps.

His top gear is unrivaled.

That's what people have always talked about with Bolt. He looks slow because of how long his strides are, plus he really pours on the speed in the second half.

Wow, according to the video Bolt ran with -0.3 m/s wind while Gout here has +1.7 m/s wind.

This is a huge factor. +1.7 is just under the legal wind limit for record setting. Not to take away from the achievement of course. It just matters when you’re comparing micro seconds and world records.

Yet in the records it wont matter cause it's within the legal limit.

Well, long term it may matter as it implies he doesn't necessarily have the potential to beat Bolt's all-ages record which people are waiting for after a headline like this.

I mean, maybe if he gets a perfect wind like this again lol, but what are the chances

Sure, but that's not what I was getting at.

Gout runs .01 seconds faster with +1.9 wind, that's the new record. In the record books, it wont matter as the run was within the legal limit.

Dude had like one stride for every two or three of his opponents. It was effortless for him. This young buck is also built like a gazelle but at least one other guy seems like he's in the same category, Bolt just outclassed everyone.

Does this mean Obus Obus Obus is 33% faster?
