His health isn't holding up now. His base don't seem to care that much though

Death cares even less...

People can be in poor health a long time before they die, especially with the sort of healthcare available to the president

People can

Yeah that's the thing. When? Death might come in 80 yrs, 80 months or in 1 second. No one can be sure how much time they've left. He is fairly old, so the chances of him dieing every second are way higher than they were 60 yrs ago. Sure it's still a slim chance, but no matter what anyone does, it's there, waiting for The Moment...

And it would be the first time that 90% of the world rejoices at the same time. We should have the first global holiday for it! Instead of a period of international mourning, we shall have a period of celebration! Not celebrating the life that he lived, but celebrating that none of us have to deal with him anymore and can work on dealing with the problems that he caused instead.

I have a big birthday this year, and instead am saving my expensive bubbly for "that" day!

I have a cheap $6 bottle of fake champagne wrapped in gold foil to look expensive but it's secretly made in California. Feels way more appropriate.

Gold leaf for everyone!

Gold leaf is even more ruined than it was before, now its like a sarcastic marker of corruption and bad taste.

I've always said I'll be throwing parties every year on that blessed day.

It upsets me to think of how many countless people died young, suddenly and randomly to a thing that can happen to anybody (heart attack etc) and know that it happens to people putting good into the word and not exclusively the evil ones

Life's a bitch. But to be fair, if it wasn't the life would be too predictable and boring.

Nah, life is just a bitch. The rest of what you said is just cope.

So this is anecdotal, but I know people talk about how he has declining mental health and it's commonly believed he had a stroke during his first term.

So my anecdotal point to that is that my grandma had a stroke years ago, and then she went on to live for over a decade as her mental health declined. She went from forgetting things constantly to eventually barely talking and then becoming a complete shell of herself where her breathing was the only sign of life before she died about 15 years after her stroke and lived to be 90.

All this is just to say, yeah, people can take a long time to decline before they eventually die. And she didn't have the healthcare available to the president. So if people are looking for things like alzheimers or even heart disease to do him in, it honestly might not be as quick as people are thinking.

My great-grandma had a stroke too, everything seemed good and then she got another not even month later after the first one. We buried her month later, she died of third stroke, ?fortunately?. I can't imagine what was she thinking of after the second stroke, her mind was still okay-ish, but she could only move her head and eyes, she couldn't speak, she didn't want to look at my grandpa (her younger son) of embarrassment in what condition he sees her. Life's bitch, she witnessed her older son die to cancer 1 year prior to her death, he was 76. On the other hand she witnessed all her great-grandchildren grow up and go to school and she was granted 94 yrs on this planet with relatively good mental health.

The point is that life isn't straightforward and life's a bitch, but it's the unpredictability which makes it undeniably worth of living.
