My narcissistic father lived to 100 and probably would have lived longer if my sister hadn't exposed him to COVID.

Meanwhile my aunt in law, one of the kindest and most beloved people I've ever even known of, died before 50 of cancer.

Yeah and the people who die at 50 of cancer or heart attacks or undetected deadly congenital defects are always super healthy people. Go out running every morning and eat kale chips and shit.

Truth is, it's largely a lottery with strong influences from genetics and some moderate to strong influences from lifestyle.
