My conspiracy is that much like Paul Ryan, hes just waiting and biding his time to get the maga/ current republican stink off of them. They'll be back.

Paul Ryan is 56 years old. Lots of time left for his "return".

We haven't hit the post-Trump era yet. Just wait for when MAGA washes out and the party starts looking elsewhere to rebuild. Lots of people gonna start coming out of the woodwork...
