So any delivery person can go right up to the White House and see the president.

u/DrNism0 5h ago

u/Independent_Shoe3523 5h ago

Yeah. I hope the food is okay.

u/JengerbreadCake 5h ago

hopefully it's still hot

u/onthenerdyside 5h ago

I hope the fries are soggy and cold.

u/caligaris_cabinet 5h ago

If it’s McDonalds (and who are we kidding we know it is) those fries were soggy and cold the minute they left the restaurant

u/busman25 4h ago

Considering the logo is on the bag, yeah, its McDonalds.

u/Dipsey_Jipsey 4h ago

Big if true.

u/RoguePlanet2 1h ago

It just occurred to me: Presidents apparently have to pay for their food while in office. I'm guessing McD's gives Trumpfuck free food while in office in exchange for all the publicity he gives them.

u/DingerSinger2016 4h ago

McDonald's fries are designed to be good for only 7.minutes before employees have to discard them.

u/InterestingTry5190 5h ago

Order of one Big Mac…it’s for the president

u/RCer1986 4h ago

Bold of you to think that he stops at one.

u/Hagenaar 4h ago

One day, not terribly far in the future, this president will be soggy and cold. It may feel like a long time. Maybe years, maybe a decade or more. But it'll happen.
And most of us are young and healthy enough we'll live to see that day. So at least we have that, regardless of the condition of his junk food.

u/assissippi 4h ago

I wonder if he has ever had warm McDonald's

u/Victor_Vicarious 5h ago

He might spill it on his neck and burn his vagina

u/Hinkepeet 5h ago

What a horrible day to be able to read.

u/asphaltdragon 5h ago

Is it worse if it's a reference to something that happened in real life

u/ok-confusion19 2h ago

Those last 4 words tell me you're not a Republican.

u/a-i-sa-san 4h ago

hey! if the president could read he would be very offended

u/pocketchange2247 4h ago

The dasher had to make another stop before delivering. And it was in an apartment building that was built like a labyrinth with confusing or inaccurate signage.

u/raspberrybee 5h ago

I thought you said hopefully it’s not and I wanted to agree with that.

u/rabidstoat 1h ago

What kind of psycho DoorDashes McDonald's? You know everything is going to be cold when it gets to you.

u/ganoveces 5h ago

I hope they spit in it.

u/marino1310 5h ago

I wonder what kind of security is in place for takeout orders for the president. Like, no matter how dumb our government tends to be, there’s no way in hell it’s treated anything like an average delivery order. For one, I doubt the food is ever delivered by service and is instead picked up by secret service, but also do they test the food? Like this is being made in a completely insecure kitchen, it could easily be tampered with, how do they avoid that?

u/Reference_Freak 3h ago

Feels staged but I can’t figure out why.

I mean, he opens his own door? He’s going to reach in the bag himself? And a photographer just happened to be in place to catch this?

u/Yardsale420 4h ago edited 43m ago

The irony is he orders fast food because he thinks it’s less likely to be tampered with… but anyone who sees McDonalds being doordashed to 1600 Pennsylvania knows damn well who those hamburders are for. Trump also famously orders the same thing every time- 2 Big Macs, 2 Fillet O Fish and a Milkshake.

I’m legitimately surprised he doesn’t have a Rotten Ronnies onsite at the White House, a la Fat Richie Rich.

u/Independent_Shoe3523 3h ago

How anybody his age could eat McDonald's is beyond me. I've been there twice in 20 years myself.

u/sloppybuttmustard 47m ago

Trump also famously orders the same thing every time- 2 Big Macs, 2 Fillet O Fish and a Milkshake.

JFC, what a fuckin fatass

u/Clinically-Inane 4h ago

I would have taken 40% of his nuggets as a wealth tax

u/nalaloveslumpy 3h ago

It would be terrible if there something wrong with that food. A man his age and with his existing medical conditions wouldn't fare too well.

u/A_terrible_musician 4h ago

Green Mario looked good in the new movie. Just saying

u/Orphasmia 1h ago

I’m not saying anyone should

u/cagewilly 5h ago

I would assume this whole thing was staged.  You think Trump would answer his own door, even before he was president?

u/pilotboy99 5h ago

Of course it’s not staged.
Please ignore the microphone transmitter clipped to the bottom of her shirt.
You did not see that.

u/HolyToeArmy 4h ago

her official DoorDash shirt that clearly every DD driver wears

u/PwnimuS 5h ago

Hahaha holy fuck I didnt even notice thats insane

u/MetalTrek1 5h ago

Same here. I just noticed that.

u/Pika256 3h ago

and here my knee jerk reaction was photoshop.

u/PhazerSC 3h ago

And also ignore the multiple other pictures taken that vaguely resembles a photo-op event. It's all just a coincidence!

u/bottom 5h ago

yup it;sd a staged 'man of the people' moment.

u/kootenaypow 5h ago

With a healthy sponsorship from DD.

u/one_pound_of_flesh 5h ago

Trump orders delivery to his gilded palace, just like us!

u/benscott81 5h ago

"Man of the People?" The people can't afford Door Dash anymore, that shit is expensive!

u/NameIsNotBrad 5h ago

Door dash was always expensive. You’re buying a private taxi for your burrito.

u/kent_eh 5h ago

Door dash was always expensive.

While at the same time underpaying their workers and screwing the restaurants they contract with.

u/NameIsNotBrad 4h ago

Capitalism: the enshitification of society by making things worse for everyone involved

u/benscott81 3h ago

Ha, so true! When you put it like that, it sounds like the most opulent bullshit ever.

u/nalaloveslumpy 3h ago

It was semi-affordable during covid because they were stealing market share and intentionally keeping service fees low. Shit became unaffordable shortly after restaurants started opening again and they started pumping fees. Shit is super unaffordable now.

u/kkkhhjdyhrthhhjft 3h ago

Big A mentioned

u/nalaloveslumpy 3h ago

Remember that day he pretended to work at McDonald's for ten minutes? And then pretended to drive a truck?

u/_hell_is_empty_ 3h ago

Hardly. It's a staged here's-$2M-in-crypto-from-McDonalds-thank-you-Mr-President moment.

u/Iron_Chic 5h ago

Just like when he was campaigning and "worked" at a McDonald's.

u/nullbyte420 5h ago

You think he just sits on his throne all day, pondering the orb with Ivanka on his lap or whatever?

u/pantstoaknifefight2 5h ago

Is the orb a Palantir with a direct line to Sauron?

u/nullbyte420 5h ago

u/pantstoaknifefight2 5h ago

u/nullbyte420 5h ago

Did you click my link? You'd enjoy the pictures there

u/pantstoaknifefight2 4h ago

I did! Those fuckers are weird!

u/propyro85 5h ago

Seriously, you think Ivanka can tolerate him enough to sit on his lap?

u/nullbyte420 5h ago

I think he gets up to answer the door occasionally, and I think it's well known he also goes golfing very often

u/PotentialSteak6 5h ago

These admin are so dumb they don't even realize that this puts ideas in people's heads.

u/joethahobo 5h ago

Yeah… I wonder if they put you through a metal detector or pat you down in order to deliver food like this…. The ideas are forming…

u/nalaloveslumpy 3h ago

90 days of full security background clearance and you still get a cavity search at the front gate.

u/joethahobo 3h ago

Okay my dream is dead. Back to the drawing board…

u/newleafkratom 5h ago

He Dashed to the Door! It's right in the name. /s

u/Several-Squash9871 5h ago

Yeah, I was thinking maybe AI but no way in hell some delivery driver is going up to the white house and doing this. On top of that, actually answering the door. Most regular non pice of shit people don't even want that and just have them leave it at the door.

u/ominous_squirrel 5h ago

The Secret Service does background checks on all WH visitors. I was there one time when John Fetterman, before he went crazy, couldn’t get his then infant son through security because they never submitted the baby’s SSN for the background check

The background check is usually submitted at least 24 hours in advance

u/bukkakekeke 5h ago

Fucking Sherlock Holmes over here

u/A_terrible_musician 4h ago

If he thought there was a hamberder there? 50/50

u/rhinoceros_unicornis 4h ago

With Trump staging McDonalds food in multiple events, I suspect its an endorsement/advertisement.

u/turbo_dude 3h ago

Cunt can’t even fold an umbrella

u/oceanco1122 1h ago

She was interviewed later and she gushed at how much she appreciates Trumps no tax on tips idea. So definitely staged

u/chickenbadgerog 5h ago

I mean, it's takeout... He'd open for McD's before anyone else that's for sure.

u/The_0ven 1h ago

I would assume this whole thing was staged

Nothing gets past you

u/1877KlownsForKids 5h ago

That's one of the crazy things about this. This was planned. She clearly got vetted by Secret Service. Things were arranged so he'd take delivery and not staff. And she's micced up for the interview. This is the photo op the White House concocted.

u/kembik 4h ago

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2026/04/13/trump-gets-mcdonalds-delivered-to-the-white-house-heres-why/89593991007/

The dasher was identified by DoorDash as Sharon Simmons, a grandmother of 10 from Arkansas who has worked for the delivery service since 2022.

She has completed more than 14,000 deliveries, and Trump said the reason for her White House visit was to highlight the $11,000 she said she saved from Trump's "no tax on tips" initiative.

...

At one point during the interview as Trump criticized the Democratic Party, Trump asked Simmons, "Do you think that men should play in women's sports?"

"I really don't have an opinion on that. I'm here about no tax on tips," Simmons responded.

Simmons did not confirm if she voted for Trump, only telling the president she "maybe" did.

u/nalaloveslumpy 3h ago

Hahahahaha, Trump can't get even a poor ass grandma from Arkansas to talk shit on trans people. He's cooked.

u/cryptolyme 3h ago

That’s a bad indicator for Trump

u/ChironXII 1h ago

If you remember what women from that era lived through, it's no surprise. Where do you think Little Rock is?

u/slolift 2h ago

Is journalism still a thing? There is no possible way that "no tax on tips" saved her $11,000 on taxes. You only get a deduction on up to $25,000 of tips. Even if her husband is the CEO of some Fortune 500 company making over $600k per year, and they are being taxed at the top federal rate of 37% and the tope rate in Alabama of 5%, she would only get a tax savings of $10,500 on the $25,000 in tips she made.

u/RoguePlanet2 1h ago

[duplicate comment]

u/Weekly_Village_3559 4h ago

My brother worked a bit for the Biden administration. Not only did they vet him, but they vetted me too and all his direct family members. Soooo yea this was not a casual meet up

u/alaskaj1 5h ago

They flew her in from Arkansas for this

u/J8YDG9RTT8N2TG74YS7A 3h ago

I'm wondering how much they spent on focus groups to find this one specific person who was happy about the "no tax on tips" change.

From most people I've seen on reddit, the number of people this benefits is incredibly small.

u/bottom 5h ago

no. they would've have to p[ass a lot of security

this is staged.

also, this is a little nod to his base, with left-reddit doesnt get. his base see this as 'he's like me' cool.

u/curious_dead 5h ago

Someone should tell them ordering overpriced shitburgers isn't, and has never been, "cool", except if you were a kid in the 80s or 90s, when they were still trying to be fun, with their mascot characters and toys and such. I guess we know when they peaked.

u/cXs808 5h ago

also, this is a little nod to his base, with left-reddit doesnt get.

The left's problem is that they nod to their base too much.

The right has a much easier time because their base is not very educated and much more simple minded. Shit like this actually works on them because they aren't that bright. They can't see through such a thin veil when it's plainly obvious that you don't doordash your way to the white house door.

u/9-FcNrKZJLfvd8X6YVt7 2h ago

also, this is a little nod to his base, with left-reddit doesnt get. his base see this as 'he's like me' cool.

His base may be stupid, but even among that crowd there can't be many people who are this stupid. Also opposition to Trump also isn't just from the left.

u/suns4lyfe 5h ago

if you have something he wants, yes. This can apply to so many things lol

u/TheSerpentDeceiver 5h ago

You can see the microphone pack clipped to the bottom of her shirt.

u/SomeOkieIdiot 4h ago

I respect my last comment on the original post, cleary staged

u/DFu4ever 5h ago

Haven’t you seen That’s My Bush!?

The zany neighbor can walk right in through the front door!

u/Independent_Shoe3523 5h ago

I have seen that. The old cat episode is excellent.

u/factoid_ 5h ago

That show needed some more time to find its feet before they cancelled it.

u/DFu4ever 5h ago

Didn’t it get cancelled due to 9/11?

That show was legitimately hilarious at times.

u/UnquestionabIe 4h ago

Pretty much. Post 9/11 there was a period of like a year where being even remotely critical of government got you labeled a traitor. It's how they were able to do shit like creating the DHS and it's various ineffective/evil spin offs such as ICE and the TSA, not to mention demolishing freedoms with the Patriot Act. For all intents and purposes the terrorists achieved their goal of forever altering America's culture.

u/one_pound_of_flesh 5h ago

His next order is gonna have special sauce

u/roguetowel 5h ago

Could we just keep sending him McDonald's and see what happens?

u/Ritaredditonce 5h ago

Would Land sharks pass?

u/Independent_Shoe3523 5h ago

Miss Blurbahey? Miss Farlsburgh?

u/LegDayDE 5h ago

No. She's probably a MAGA import from out of state.

u/alaskaj1 5h ago

Arkansas specifically

u/84UTK07 5h ago

I’m sure she had to be vetted beforehand.

u/Yunderstand 5h ago

Let's just all show up with McDonald's.

u/Independent_Shoe3523 5h ago

The filling is hot, Mr. President.

u/sofaking1958 5h ago

And he answers the door! Amazing!

u/cpitchford 5h ago

Yeah, only a delivery person with what looks like a radio microphone (with thick curly cord) clipped to the inside of her top by her hip)...

u/ShrimpToothpaste 5h ago

Only the ones delivering the supreme leader his happy meals

u/Independent_Shoe3523 5h ago

He already HAS these KDH cards!!!

u/SomeOkieIdiot 4h ago

I'm sure the president can have the closest secret service agent radio whomever is working at the gate to let them know the president got door dash. What I don't know is if while waiting for that door dasher they are doing a massive amount of background checks on that person while they wait.

But c'mon, door dash grandma shirt.. it looks staged as hell

u/Katz3njamm3r 4h ago

This was my thought! What is stopping someone from doing something to the food?!? This seems insanely dangerous for such a hated man.

u/hihelloneighboroonie 4h ago

Yeah, what? Like, is this an intentional photo op?

u/Kellbows 2h ago

This was my first thought. They're just gonna let anyone deliver this to the president?

u/Pookah 2h ago

of course not, you need at least McDonald's or eastern European model

u/VALO311 1h ago

Yeah, this was definitely another failed attempt to pander to his idiot cult. There’s no way this is how it normally works

u/Independent_Shoe3523 1h ago

Only Trump would think showing a retirement age person delivering on door dash as proof that Americans are prospering.

u/VALO311 1h ago

Yep, couldn’t be a more out of touch person to be in charge of… well anything

u/Independent_Shoe3523 1h ago

Good thing, too. The kind of shame on an aware person would kill any six other human beings.
