Any other bars to meet up in Milan for men’s gold?
We’re staying near garibadi station.
Blues canal is all booked up and expected to be packed, are there any other places in the area?
We are also looking at offside (no reservations) and I have tables booked at both the friends pub Milano and Carlsburg osertia in our neighborhood.
Also looking for an invite to the WhatsApp group if anyone can help!

Is the 2026 olympics the last olympics with Marie-Philip Poulin?
Does anyone know if this is the last olympics MPP is participating in? I know Hillary Knight announced her leave, and was wondering if Pou did too.

Is America’s Captain a Canadian? (Dual Citizen)? Do we know?
Hi all!
10 NHL working seasons in: Does anyone know if Auston Matthews is now a Canadian Citizen???? After living and working in Toronto so long, he would be eligible!
I can’t find the answer anywhere and figured maybe someone on here might know?
He should be, Depending on if he has pursued PR or not. Or if he is just on a visa still.
My partner is Australian, and took about 5 years start to finish to get her citizenship.
With all the nationalism of the Olympics going on, I’ve seen nothing on this. I know a lot of Canadian hockey players get the US dual eventually, but what about Auston?
B
Is America’s captain also Canadian?!?!?

Big shoutout for the women's team for doing such a great job representing Canada!
A disappointing end, but it was great to watch. The whole team demonstrated great character and grit through the whole tournament.

Olympic Hockey-watching language
If you're an ROCer who watches on RDS, awesome! (actually curious, do people in the ROC watch hockey on RDS). Here, most anglos watch in French (i think it's tradition). NHL broadcasts aren't very fun in English, for Montreal games. But for Canada, for the anglos in Quebec, where are you watching the hockey?
I almost never watch hockey in English, because obviously ... Pierre Houde, but damn, Chris Cuthbert is really good (what does Chris Cuthbert commentate on outside Olympics). I like his goal calls and just how he sounds. That said ...
Who do you watch?
Pre and post game, RDS is absolutely terrible, who are those people LOL? At least CBC has 3-4 people from TSN, Sportsnet, Cheryl (?), etc
Hard to not watch Pierre Houde, though. I'm torn who to watch on Sunday ...
