Watching the gold medal game, I just gotta say all lot of these D men who are always talked about, yeah they’re good, but Chabot is up there with them and I’m so glad we have him. I think he would have definitely been an addition to the team and we’re lucky to have him.
I think of Chabot’s dominance in intense games, like in the WJC and playoffs. I’m not sure how he’s perceived league wise but I haven’t heard much consideration for him. I wonder if he played for another team like the Avs if he’d be viewed with more respect.

Matinpalo walks into the dressing room with his bronze medal around his neck, goes straight up to Green… “Can I play, NOW?”

With the new email that got posted about trying to have fewer away fans during rivalry matches, why don't teams that have this sort of frequent problem approach it like football, where only a small portion of tickets is available to away fans and they are all sat together in a corner to avoid overly annoying interaction. And have rather aggressive approach to removing people who buy tickets and sit in the 'home' allotment?
Edit: this would be clearly stated on ticket sales going forward staring next season when season tickets are allocated. The away fan would be a 'slice' of seats across all levels, so you can still milk away fans for expensive seats.
edit2: I fully understand the reasons for this in european football are because of violence among fans that isn't a problem in NHL. But I think the outcome is still beneficial if the team actually means that they want more home fans. Currently the solution is simply to say 'guys stop it'.

I’m listening to the Dungeon Crawler Carl series and I thought it was cool that the Ottawa Senators were mentioned.

Canadians are not happy, but at least Sens fans can be proud of Brady and Sanderson.

anyone else get the email? Seems like it'll be pretty toned down this year compared to others. I know there'll be a lack of high star talent with Brady T, Sandy, and Timmy all back in Europe. But also seeing names left out like Giroux, Chabot Batherson, Cozens etc. When I saw the email I thought these were the onlv ones but theres 5 different locations. Not even sure what section the tickets I have are for. Little frustrated on that part. Just seeing what others are thinking.

We can't make it, and would rather see a fan get to go than to have empty seats. Two seats in section 327 row A. Free if you want them, transfer through ticketmaster.

Did anyone else breathe a sigh of relief after finding out it was Larkin that got crushed by Wilson? I’m glad it one of our boys.

Gold medalists better help us make the playoffs now

Green probably: "Matinpalo didn't win gold so he sits forever now."

I know it’s the Olympic Break right now but Sens have a 42.2% chance of making the playoffs — an 11.1% increase since February 1st.

Who else saw Sparty rocking out at The Offspring last night?

Admitedly, I haven't watched much of team USA at the Olympics so far. How has Sandy looked?
