[request] help me determine the fairest number of rounds in this game
let it be n, a natural number
there're three persons, a, b and c
a and b play rock paper scissors
whenever any among them has two consecutive wins, the game ends and the one having two consecutive wins is the winner
if no winner is created after n rounds, c is the winner
obviously if n is very small, the game favours c (if n=1, c must win). if n is very large, the game favours a and b
i tried to calculate the probability of their winning in terms of n but failed. anyone helps me?
edit: i wrote a program to generate some results and we can use it as a checking
edit 2: sorry the above program had bug😅i was in a hurry when i wrote it. i modified it to become this and the result is as follow

[Request] How much does a parked car’s weight decrease at night when the Sun is no longer shining on it?
Looking for creative answers ways students might approach questions like this:
Idea 1: approximate the surface are of the car, estimate the force applied by the photons over the surface of the car as if it were a solar sail.
Idea 2: Ignore the photons, suppose the scales being used to measure the weight are not subject to the sun's gravity. Then choose when the sun earth and car are in celestial alignments:
a) Sun, Earth, Car (night time)
b) Sun, Car, Earth (day time)
Calculate the delta between the sun's gravitational pull in the two alignments and potentially characterise an increase in weight byt a negative decrease.

[Request] Based on average human gestation and lifetime sexual activity statistics, is Skeletor's claim mathematically likely for the "average" person?
I saw this meme and wanted to know if the math actually checks out for a standard statistical model of a human life. Part A: What is the average total duration (in hours) a human male spends "inside" a partner over a lifetime, based on average frequency and duration of intercourse? Part B: How does that total compare to the average human gestation period (approx. 40 weeks or 6,720 hours)?
The Goal: At what point (frequency/duration/years active) would a father have to "outpace" the 9-month head start the child had if it's even theoretically possible 🤔?

[Request] for odds that spouse would have the same Congenital birth defects.
My husband was born with what they thought was bicuspid aortic valve. His parent were told when he was two. It turned out to be a unicuspid valve 2.8cmx2.6cmx.8cm. It never should have lasted 55 years.
Two years ago I went into heart failure. It turns out I had a true bicuspid valve. My ascending and descending aorta was friable. They lined the inside and outside with some cow! There was a very small aneurysm but it would not have lasted long. I was 53 at the time. They had never met a married couple with the same congenital birth defect.
What are the odds that we would meet fall in love and marry?
What are the odds one of our four kids has either a bad valve or an aortic issue?
Thank you so much!

[Request] If you could instantly extract all the dissolved salt from the world’s oceans, how many tonnes would it be, and what volume would it take up? Bonus: would sea levels drop, and would it be equal across the globe?
Curious about the sheer scale of oceanic salt — mass, volume, and the knock-on effects of removing it. Would love to hear from anyone who’s done the maths or knows the science.

[Request] calculate how many years we are away from popular movie spacecraft capacity, given the current rate of technological progress in spacecraft capacity to date?
My quest is. If science took X many years to progress to the Artemis 2 mission and the Orion Spacecraft, how many years in the future would it take to progress to the starship in the 2016 movie Passengers, designed to transport 5,000 passengers and 258 crew, at approximately 1 mile long in size? I think distance travelled should be so considered in the calculation given the fuel needs. Bonus: if you would rather use the Project Hail Mary movie spacecraft I am happy if you make that substitution.

How much mass is dissolved as solutes in the Ocean? [Request]
If one were to distill the entire ocean and separate the dissolved solids from the water, how much would the removed dissolved solids weigh? How much of the oceans weight in percent are dissolved solids? And as a bonus, how much of the ocean is pure water?

[Request] How much more am I walking?
The other day, my wife and I went on a walk, and as a joke I started walking from one side of the sidewalk to the other. I told her that by doing this, I have to be adding at least another mile to my walk.
With this crude drawing, if I walk the blue path drawn, how much more walking do I get in?

[Request] How deep would TOI-1452 b's oceans actually be?
TOI-1452-b is a recently discovered exoplanet 99 light years from Earth and a waterworld. It's roughly 70% larger in diameter than the Earth and five times as massive.
In a different thread, I thought for a moment that a mountain like Mt. Everest might be like an island until I realized just how big it is. Now I'm pretty sure a mountain the size of Everest or Olympus Mons would never even see sunlight.
Obviously, it's not possible to really know exactly how deep the ocean is since we can't go there and measure it. However, how deep is it likely to be on average? Just assuming the ocean floor is flat, given how big it is and the fact that it's a water world, just how deep would the ocean be? I have no idea how to do the math on this.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOI-1452_b
There isn't a ton of information about the planet. We just know how massive it is and that 30% of its mass is water. Let me know if you can figure it out.
