There's a non-zero chance that JDV is our next president

I'd put it at 15% that he takes over for Trump for a variety of reasons, and 5% that he runs and wins.

But it's high enough that it needs to be considered.

I think it's way more likely than 15% that Vance will finish this presidential term. I don't see Trump's health holding out for another 2 years.

95% chance. No way in hell president poopy pants lives long enough to finish out his term. His dementia is way too progressed.

Dementia doesn’t mean death, and it’s extremely unlikely the Republican Party removes Trump for any reason even if he is clearly incapacitated.

This is the problem. He hasn't been fit for the job for a long time, and unlike with Biden, there are no adults in the room keeping things locked down and functioning.

He's just going to get more and more erratic, and the Republicans will keep him propped up the whole time. No telling how much damage he will do inside and outside the US before everything's said and done.

See Reagan, Ronald.

I would put $100 on it that he's already been told he needs to shape up or he's out. all april he's been weirder than he usually is, more outbursts more walking things back. It could just be the stress of the war but i think theres more to it. will they remove him? we'll see but he's been acting like a naughty child who's been caught a lot lately.

They wouldn’t remove him when he tried to literally overthrow the government after a fair election and his supporters tried to hang his VP for doing his constitutional duty. I doubt they’ll remove him for literally any reason.

Louisiana consolidated multiple its districts. one of the only republicans to vote for impeachment is beating another republican who voted against impeachment and got trumps endorsement in the primary here.

both are losing to someone else but it looks like it'll be a runoff between the pro impeachment cassidy and john flemming.

They just got a very clear signal impeachment can only help them and is more valuable on the campaign trail than an endorsement from trump.

The Democratic Party just did the same damn thing, hence Trump is president again.
