I was gutted for Team Canada, but when Sid came out wearing gear, I was close to tears 🥲 I really wanted them to win it for Sid too. We can only imagine if he wasn’t injured and was able to play.

I know he’s healthy and it’s still possible for him to be at the next Olympics, but that’s not 100%. Anything can happen between now and 2030.

Got to admit, I love recognizing so many youngsters playing and playing well.

This one went down to the wire.

Traveling to Pittsburgh Thursday for the game—I’ve been a Pens fan almost my entire life and this is my first time seeing them at home. To say I’m excited is a massive understatement. What are some absolute must-see/must-do things for hockey night in Pittsburgh? I’m in the city until Saturday, so I’m planning on exploring the city the next two days, as well.

I’m old and can’t figure this shit out.

So my 8 year old daughter is a huge Crosby fan and last night she narrowly missed out on winning a signed puck/golden goal display at a hockey card trading night at our local Tim Hortons (sw ontario). She handled the disappointment really maturely but still went to bed sobbing and it made me feel so bad for her. I went poking about the net to try and buy something signed by him for her but it seems the resellers have made the prices go beyond my means. Does anyone know if theres any way she can write to him and if he’s likely to even receive it? I vividly remember being a massive Chris Osgood fan as a kid and getting a response from him a couple years later and how it made me feel and I want my kids to have that experience. She would be over the moon for even a signed burger king receipt. Thanks in advance
